Key word in the title is "rumors!"
1) Even though Osborne said "the end of season" there seems to be a lot of discussion that the coaches (almost all) will be fired soon. I think this is about a 20% of actually happening before the end of season. I think at the end this jumps o 75% for some coaches. 0% for total turnover. I think Watson and Busch are safe. Busch was an assistant under Osborne and is one heck of a recruiter. Watson has home roots. Keep in mind that Osborne is not known for firing people. He is more about righting the wrong.
2) Dave Remington will be Osborne's understudy for AD I actually think this one will happen. I'd give it an 80% chance as Remington is a Husker hero, is very well respected in the big red community and his experience as the head of the Boomer Esiason CF Foundation gives him a pretty good resume for being the future AD.
3) Donors have raised the needed money to pay off any coaching contracts AND will pay the remaining balance of the expansion. There is no doubt that NU has the donor base and if coaches are fired then they are covered.
4) Bo Pelini has been mentioned as someone who has been or will be approached to be the new Nebraska Head coach. That his wife does not like the Louisana area. I think that if there is a coaching change that he will be considered. After what he went through at NU it could be a short lived consideration. Though he is familiar with the organization and has the fire to be a head coach. Just ask Bill Snyder. 50/50 he would want to be a candidate and 90% he would get the job offer. He would be good because he would keep the passing game at NU.
5) Frank Solich will be the next Huskers head coach. If this happens I am no longer a fan of college football. 0% If you thought Pederson had communication / personality problems...Ya I know he was 9-3 that year but the players were playing out their ass for him. Horrible recruiter. Good for Ohio but not a program like NU.
Once again these are all rumors as of now!!!
