Basically NU (aka We) sucked.  I think going 3, 3, 5 on defense was a horrible call plus playing zone defense.  wtf  You put 4 guys on the line and you put pressure on the QB.  You don't give a Chase Daniel the time to make a play.  The zone defense allows too many gaps in the defense.  Should have been 4, 3, 4 and man to man coverage.

Offense needs a FB to help pick up the defensive blitzes and to make holes for the RB.  Take away one of the TE spots.  3 TE shifts take too much time and coordination and frankly hasn't been a burden on opposing defenses.

Unfortunately, NU is a mediocre team this year and they've been beat by teams playing better football this year.

What I've noticed is how slow we look compared to other teams.  And I'm not just talking about this year.  Most of the players we recuit have good 40 speeds, so I'm not sure if it is the coaching making the players think before reacting, or if its Dave Kennedy's training program making our players bigger but slower...  Honestly, it probably is a combination of both. 

Either way, we have problems that are not going to be addressed for the remainder of this year...
