For bringing the pass to NU Football.  With that said I love it when a NU running back knocks down a waiting and unexpecting linebacker or breaks off a 70 yard TD run.  Fact of the matter is a true championship team can make the pass too.  With Solich it was run up the middle, around the right or left.  The offense was stagnant.  If you stopped the run then NU had little chance of coming back late in the game.  I think Watson's "Nebraska Offense" will still be a lot of the West Coast offense but I think they'll mix in more run, spread formations and the occasional option play.  It should be very diverse and fun to watch.  With a faster and fired up defense (hitting in practice instead of playing tag) the games should a lot of fun to watch and who knows what Watson is going to pull out of his bag of plays.  Tom wants some option.  Watson is a West Coast / Spread hybrid and Ganz has shown he is a lot like Steve Young in style of play.

With that said...I am glad Cally is gone.

yeah i also think that they will be running a much simplier offence. Since College Football players cant commit a 100% of there time learning the offense like NFL guys can. Thats one thing that always seem to hurt us during game time.
