How to buy a Triton Home?

Below is a brief description of the pre-approval process and the mortgage process:

1. Get Pre-Approved for a Mortgage: 
During your initial meeting with your L.O. you will be able to apply for "pre-approval". This means that your L.O. will be able to determine the home loan options available for you without you actually applying for a mortgage. It gives you a chance to see what is available without committing to a specific loan right now. In order to complete the pre-approval process, your L.O. will ask you questions about your income, debts and preferences in loan terms and then enter that information into their secure loan application software. In most cases, your L.O. should be able to tell you within minutes the loan options that are available to you including an estimated monthly payment. As mortgage interest rates are constantly changing, the monthly payment estimated for your pre-approval can not be guaranteed but will give you a good estimate for planning purposes.

2. Complete a Mortgage Application: Once you are pre-approved and have determined the type of loan that best fits your needs and the Triton Home that you would buy, you can begin your formal mortgage application. Again, this is not really that difficult of a process. Basically, your L.O. will prepare an application for you with the same information that was supplied for the pre-approval except this time you will need to provide documentation of your identity, address, bank accounts, income, investments and debts. You may be asked to bring in a paycheck stub, tax return, bank account statement or other documents to validate the information that you supplied for your application. Your L.O. will give you a list of exactly the kind of documentation you will need and can explain how you can get the documentation if you have any questions.

3. Become a Homeowner! Once your mortgage application done, you will need to determine the kind of homeowners' insurance that you want and the date that you would like to close on your home (the day you take official ownership). From there, your L.O. takes over. They will work with your Triton Homes Sales Representative to complete the rest of the mortgage process for you.
