Blog Entry: ADULT A Assuredness: Adults are confident in their abilities. Adults educate themselves to rise to the occasion and lend themselves as mentors and teachers to those that wish to learn. Adults also know when others do not wish to take advantage of opportunities presented to them and do not waste their time or talent. D Determination: Adults don’t quit because life gets hard. Adults know there is a way, even if the best ideas are not their own. Adults are not threatened by asking for help to get something done. U Understanding: Adults understand that everything is not about them, that a greater good is in the best interest of all people. Adults are aware that others may accomplish things in ways foreign to them, and appreciate the differences. L Love: Adults know that love is a gift between people. Love is not to be ignored or taken advantage of. Adults have the realization that those who give love are those that receive love. Through experience, adults know that not all people are capable of giving or receiving love. T Trustworthy: Adults do what they say they are going to do, when they are going to do it. Adults do not have to be reminded they made a promise because adults care enough to know others count on them.
